2010 has already been quite exciting, giving us three new male idol acts, all of which have a distinct style from the other. F.cuz (pronounced “focus”), ZE:A (pronounced “jeh-ah”), C.N Blue all debuted, and one month hasn’t even passed yet! Here are discriptions of each of the super rookie groups. F.cuz F.cuz (pronounced “focus”), from CAN&J’s Entertainment , teased fans with some pre-debut videos that caused quite a bit of buzz. The four members seemed to be brimming with talent and charisma. Unfortunately all that talent remains untapped in their debut single “ JIGGY .” The music video was released on January 7th and their debut stage was on January 8th. ‘JIGGY” is a rather generic pop song, riddled with jibberish and plagued by poor fashion choices. In this case, “getting jiggy” means getting back out into the real world after a rough break up, but it’s hard to tell what the “mam mam ma tti ah” stuff means in the middle of the song. (No, it’s not Korean. Is it another language?) Fortunately, the pre-debut videos of Yejun and LeeU singing, Kan dancing , and Jinon rapping , still leave Kpop fans hoping for a bright future and a better song.
