"Honobono-kun" mangaka dies at 80

Mangaka Kimihiko Tsukuda died of pneumonia at a Tokyo hospital on June 28, it has been learned. He was 80 years old. Tsukuda was the author of “Honobono-kun,” the longest-running newspaper manga. “Honobono-kun” started in the Tokyo Shimbun in 1956.
